Montecito Home

Winfrey purchased this 23,000-square-foot home for a whopping $50 million back in 2001. It's located about 6 miles from downtown Santa Barbara.

Orcas Island Home

Winfrey's latest purchase is a 41-acre estate located on Orcas Island in the northwestern corner of Washington state. She purchased the eight-bedroom, six-and-a-quarter bathroom, 7,303-square-foot estate that sits on the property for a cool $8.275 million. She even has 3,000 feet of private shoreline according to Velvet Ropes.

Seamair Farm Estate

In 2016, Oprah purchased a 23-acre horse farm estate for nearly $29 million at auction. "It's about three-quarters of a mile from the beach and up against the mountains, right in the heart of Montecito, where a lot of celebrities live," said Marty Rogers of Sage Auctions, who auctioned the property.

The "once in a lifetime" property is located between the Santa Ynez Mountains and the Pacific Ocean and hadn't been on the market for over 30 years when Winfrey purchased it.

Montecito Home #2

Two homes in Montecito clearly isn’t adequate for Oprah WInfrey. Which is why she bought Jeff Bridges’ former home that sits right inbetween her $50 million Montecito home and her Seamair farm estate in November 2019.

Telluride Home

In 2014, Winfrey purchased this absolutely picturesque 8,700-square-foot home in Telluride, Colorado. She paid $14 million for the mansion — completely furnished. According to the Los Angeles Times, the home once belonged to African art collector Bob Wall.

The five-bedroom, six-and-a-half-bathroom home sits on about 3.25 acres on the side of Mountain Village

Maui Home

We’ve reached the final home: her estate in Maui.

Oprah purchased 163 acres of property, which sits on the slopes of Mount Haleakala. While it's unclear how much she spent on the estate, an adjacent property went up for sale in 2016 for $32 million.

Aloha, Hawaii

Winfrey’s romance with the island of Maui started back in 2003, when she purchased two properties in the Kula community on the Valley Isle, adding up to 23 acres for $5.3 million. Each of those lots contain multiple buildings.

That purchase appears to have included a boutique bed and breakfast. So it seems she always expected to welcome guests to her tropical paradise. In fact, one of the redone homes on her land was featured in O Magazine.

Since then, the queen has continued snatching up properties in the area, for a total of over $40 million and some 163 acres, according to O Magazine, which featured this video of Winfrey herself tooling around her property on one of two all-terrain vehicles given to her by Ralph Lauren. (She discovered the ATVs on his ranch, she tells the magazine.)

She's even rumored to have built a secret road to her property, making access to the more populated parts of Maui that much easier

.

In addition to her Kula holdings, she purchased over 60 acres in the Hana area back in 2005.

Mountain getaway

Oprah also has a cold-weather hideaway. She purchased 66 acres in coveted Mountain Village, CO, in 2014, for $10,850,000.

She apparently had a custom home constructed on the property, which sits above the ski town of Telluride. But while it was being built, she reportedly bought a “temporary” home away from home to monitor the construction: a high-tech mansion in Telluride for $13.7 million.

The contemporary construction offers complete privacy and direct trail access. The grounds include a treetop observation tower, a funicular, and a glass and steel bridge over the great room.
