The owl is a bird whose image was co-opted by evil. The owl in all its variations never chose to be a symbol of evil. It did not vote to be a symbol of evil. It did not willy-nilly jump up and down screaming pick me pick me as a symbol of evil as many of our current symbols of celebrity have apparently done.
Stop blaming innocent life for the evil of a very few.
