What Sec Def Esper did today was very bad optics.

He publicly contradicted POTUS's public statements to use the Insurrection Act to quell the insurgency that is violently rioting to destabilize local, state and the federal government. It makes POTUS look weak and creates a sense that the Executive Cabinet is not unified on the the Law & Order message of the President.

Fuck Sen Thune…."I think the Defense Department by and large ought to stay out of the political fray"

Businesses burned down - with jobs gone forever - and innocent people killed is not a "political fray".

If Antifia manages to penetrate White House security and begins setting fires inside the Oval Office… will those fuckheads still call it a "political fray"?

So go ask Andy McCabe… as the record remains open
