Am putting this graphic of what I believe Planefag is telling us the air traffic is doing to the South of London, and how it is the likely explanation for the lights in what we have been calling Orion’s Belt.
There remain though, quite a few other lights which do appear to be normal stars and we will continue looking at those. I believe Planefag’s scenario for the lights is currently our best theory. In fact, I had requested we look into the possibility of the lights in “the Belt” as possible air traffic because of the fact that, in our modeling of the actual constellation of Orion in a Winter sky over London, the orientation of the Belt would not lay horizontal with the horizon as the lights do in the NSA Traf CAM LONDON2847 pic. This does not mean the rest of the stars found in the pic are not stars though. So the dig continues.
