To paste an image here, you can simply Copy the image (usually, right click over image, select Copy). Then when over the New Reply form, Paste. Depending on your device it can be very easy. You don't need to find and paste the image link. If the image is in your filesystem, you can simply drag it to the Select/Drop/Paste Files portion of the form.

If you want to make some formatted for twitter shape that would be fine too. Otherwise, I use an app that will put the square images onto a 16:9 landscape canvas for use on Twitter.
Did you know? A square image in the twitter timeline view seen by 85% of mobiles will display ONLY THE BOTTOM PORTION OF THE IMAGE, like so:
So these will be on black or white canvases when I process them but you might prefer to control the background color yourself.
A good twitter template is 1200 x 675.
