We're a different breed at the chans (and kuns, I guess). We look at the facts to determine the merit of the message, not whether it hurt our feelings.
In my experience, if you tell the truth but people don't like the way you say it, those people end up not liking the truth. There's more than one way to tell your gf that she's fat, and the direct method probably won't keep her from reaching for those Nutter Butters.
