Interesting, near the end of the RSBN stream you could see flashes off in the distance, no booms in the background so they weren't fireworks… probably just a small lightning storm.

School these days is indoctrination only and very minimal actual education, the math your kids are learning is complete bullshit.
A few years ago there was some news stories about parents trying to help their kids with math homework, but here's the thing, some of these parents had literal degrees in math and even they couldn't solve the problems given to their children via homework.
And these parents, of course, complained to the teachers and whoever they needed to, but their kids were still given shitty complicated math that even adults with math degrees couldn't solve the problems.
There is so much information you can get from the internet, from youtube, and from already published books thats far more educational and useful for your children.
