Not going to lie, these threads are seeming to drop a lot in quality. What started with infographics, PDFs, and information on advanced technologies, is now full of this stupid CES posts and garbage like this >>9968352 which is probably meant to steer people away from this thread.

Did people run out of interesting things to post, or has these threads been commandeered by people whose purpose is to dilute it and discourage participation of the original subject?

You're the one who took my observations and projected them through an emotional lens. Convince me why any of the posts I see as garbage are actually useful. As you know, the truth stands up to scrutiny so you should have no problems explaining.

Not surprisingly, the issue becomes separating the signal from the noise. Playing devil's advocate, I too could spend a few minutes being creative and make a very cryptic sounding post. It becomes very hard to determine whether it is worth spending energy digging into it, or realizing its nothing but a false artifact.

Yeah, "over the target" definitely applies here. The earlier threads were awesome IMO… I only hope the shills/noise don't discourage those with information from stepping forward.

In light of all of the images gone in older threads (as well as attached files like PDFs), does anyone know if or where they are backed up to? If that isn't done I strongly suggest we should start, otherwise all of this information is lost forever. Making a script to save the threads and all of the attachments would be very easy if need be.
