It's just the nature of the beast, unfortunately. I wouldn't say it's "completely comped."

The problem is that most of the people who have been in the UFO community for a while develop their own pet theories…ayys are angels, ayys are demons, they're from outer space, they're from inner earth, they're from another dimension, etc. Any UFO forum that's not a hugbox is just like here and /x/.

I highly doubt we will ever have perfect truth regarding all the specifics. But we can still exchange info and learn.

See, I personally believe that ayys are supernatural, but I don't feel the need to derail every thread with 5 infographics about it. After all, who I am to say that God couldn't have created living worlds on other planets? Maybe we have space-faring cousins who like to swing through Earth during their Sunday drives. The most direct evidence we have are witness accounts, and everyone sees different patterns.

Some people definitely spend a little bit too much time speculating about this stuff. The subject, by it's nature, teeters on the edge of the incomprehensible. Maybe we're just dogs barking at fireworks. Maybe not. At the end of the day, I trust God.

Thanks for the tip, I'll go check /wsg/ out. I got some cool webms from there last year but I don't know where they went.
