As an anon who submitted a couple articles to the Citizen Op-Ed section, one of which was used as a partial basis for an article posted on the Op-Ed Journal,
second that comment.
It also could be a courteous gesture for the editorial staff to consider giving the citizen author anons a round of feedback and/or an opportunity to do a rewrite before the editorial staff uses the material the anon submitted for their own piece.
Regardless, the lack of clearly delineated standards & practices is currently a disincentive for this anon to contribute anything going forward.
Maybe others will think differently.
