Just thought of another thing to get clicks on abcu8.co.

Have you used SEO (search engine optimization) tools?

Haven't used the popular Google one, but have used Yoast

https://yoast.com/wordpress/plugins/seo/

It rates each page and adds WP-integrated menus that help site owner add the metadata per page and per image.

It is a royal pain to enter all the metadata, but supposedly makes a big difference in the site's visibility to search engines.

First, just turned off AdBlock Plus for page.

Refreshed tab, no change seen.

Disabled AdBlock Plus in browser add-on settings.

Restarted browser, still no change.

Closed ALL INSTANCES of Firefox.

Restarted Firefox.

NOW I see the whole article. Pic attached.

Not your fault

Apparently it's some faulty behavior of AdBlock Plus where it encounters an ad in the middle of an article that's all she wrote and fails to render the balance of the article.

Wow, interesting discovery.

It is not from abcu8.co.

It's in the source pulled from OANN.

I think it's this:

<div class="ad-spot"><!-- AuctionX Display platform tag START --></p><div id="24697x300x250x4195x_ADSLOT1"/><p><!-- AuctionX Display platform tag END --></p></div>

If rendered on OANN's site it would probably pull an ad from a local directory there. The AdBlocker didn't like it, and instead of just removing a few lines of HTML, truncated the whole article.

Anyway. Plumber is here fixing something that is leaking next to the furnace. Back in a bit, I need to understand the plumbing of this house.
