When Q started up, for the first year or so there was a not-sane person we had known in the past, who was stalking us on the chan, who could have caused a lot of trouble. So we had to be really careful until that person went away. Fortunately they were pretty recognizable when they posted.

I really can't tell from video I looked at. Needs frame-by-frame study.
Did the moving object's apparent profile change as it moved (as in, wings flapping)?
Maybe we need to get an app that can decompose MP4 video frame by frame. I can do it for GIFs but don't have the tools for MP4.

The Beirut, Lebanon explosion was processed using the same basic methods that we use for regional earthquakes. To remove uncertainties in the location associated with seismic methods, we fix the location to the location seen in videos of the blast. Standard methods were used to calculate the magnitude. The reported magnitude is not directly comparable to an earthquake of similar size because the explosion occurred at the surface where seismic waves are not as efficiently generated.

Start selecting seismology stations from the table below the map and see what waveforms are available. Presumably the nearest stations would be best (less smear from reflections or topography). That's not always true but that's what I look for first.

The Armenia data does not look good. I don't know how they deduced arrival of a wavefront from that mess.

The Saudi data doesn't look good either. I would expect to see a nearly flat line prior to the explosion. Instead it looks nearly uniform over time.

So, heck. I give up. Would be necessary to correlate exact timestamp of observers on site, with purported waveform arrival at these stations.
