Can you do us a Twitter experiment when you have time?

What do each of these images look like when posted on twitter? (Screencap image + context please)

Do they look the same on a smartphone and on a computer?

We have been told over and over that twitter images must be 2:1 shape to look right in Twitter timeline - that if portrait shape, Twitter will truncate the bottom of the image and only show the 2:1 portion at the top. Is it true?

Most anons routinely ignore the warning.

If I had a twitter account I'd have done the experiment years ago.

We (memefags) HAVE to put this matter to rest and if we're doing something wrong, clean up our act. I'm concerned about the shape, not the size.

Much appreciated. I need to digest this carefully and turn it into actionable directions the memefags can absorb.
