I saw the short videos and the animated graphics, Cee, you're kicking ass!
If you (or anyone else) want ever want to edit audio, Audacity is a great free, small program with some great capabilities. I love free and small.
I have tried my hand at PS animation, there is definitely a learning curve but I have more time now (until job actually starts).
>The Publisher vs. Platform topic needs addressed.
Good point, timely and prescient. I will work on this.
Q: What do the People need to know about the difference and how it affects their lives personally? Personal impact is what drives it home.
>Been thinking about simply teaching people basic civic things they don't know.
The public service announcements (I'm just a Bill out on Capitol Hill) may or may not be within our creative/technological capabilities at this point - we have talent out there just waiting to be tapped, potential just waiting to be used by someone yet unknown or not yet confident in their abilities - collaborative efforts start with a simple seed - @BABYFIST- is there anyone in your dischord groups we can call upon and work with us on this?
Surely the talent is there, we just need to connect the video with the script people with the graphics people.
Dating myself here: "Mr. Yuck is mean, Mr. Yuck is green"… "I'm just a Bill, out on Capitol Hill" (and the one about healthy Choppers with the snacks in the fridge) they were effective enough for me to remember them 40-some years later! I can still picture them in my mind's eye. I'm confident that we, with all the talent, creativity and Patriotic motivation can create something equal if not better!
The pertinent question is: What does the current generation(s) NEED to know ''that they have not learned about civics''?
If we first define the NEED, then we can define the educational products that will move our nation forward in a positive direction.
