Babyfist, what do you think about having a more regular homepage? Like other news sites and aggregators with the content laid out on one page. You could post the stuff you've been tweeting, link posts from aggregators, like george.news, have a column for werethene.ws, embed some videos like this guy https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uErY5RJ76Os, link q tweets and vids and have it be be like a news site with community links. The homepage up now looks like an about page tbh.

There are lots of Q people like this with small followings, I think it would be neat to have one site with some of their videos together with Giuliani and gnews updates, blogs small and big, etc in one place.

I'm not sure "if you build it they will come" is the best way to grow the site. I know you reach out to people like ninja already so I'm not trying to knock what you've done, I wouldn't be writing anything if not for this. We need a working site though.

Yeah, would be cool if there was more "flash" on the hp. Videos, tweets, idk. Something to draw people in. Also 10 items per page is short when you're browsing stories.

Maybe you're right and that's a different kind of site. I just meant the HP, it looks more like an About page and theres no content on it and a lot of white space, not sure if that part looks worse to me since I have a wide monitor. It looks "under construction". Don't want to make a lot of work for anyone just to get the site looking better and with more features SO PEOPLE USE IT.

Look at george.news, nice layout on their page. check it out the black margins, they make everything look neat and the color scheme is simple and it works and nothing looks empty or blank. They have a wide column and 2 normal ones, lots of stories fit in them but it doesn't look too busy, then the video section is double wide. A video section is a cool thing to have, you could put any kind of videos there. Then they have their tweets on the right column all the way down, totally meshes with the rest of the page. It's really good the way they use the space and it's engaging, that makes me want to go back and use their site again. Not criticizing the current site just that the aesthetics and features could be improved and the HP can't be content-vacant.
