Benghazi was about Hilary running stinger missiles from a CIA location in Qatar, into the hands of the terrorists who later used them to kill Seal Team Six. So the two events were linked, and Hilary was squarely in the middle.
They were MANPAD shoulder fired ground to air missiles stolen from Libyan stockpiles.
Ambassador Stevens saw these flowing through the compound and wasn’t amused as they could be used against commercial flights.
They would lead back to him…so he had to go.
And it was likely one of these MANPAD systems was used on ST6.

Note: Got pushback on QR last night because of the organization of a Seal unit does not precisely correspond to the designation "Seal Team Six" that has been popularly used since the shoot-down. However I did not see any reason to change the terminology. I don't think it's either disrespectful or false. It's how the public has long referred to the event.

Incorrect.
A SEAL Team consists of multiple Squadrons, Anon. They are are what we might call 'platoons'.
"DEVGRU / ST6 is organized into 4 line squadrons codenamed Red Squadron, Blue Squadron, Gold Squadron and Silver Squadron."
"Each line squadron contains around 50 operators and each squadron is divided into 3 troops. Troops will typically be divided into teams of assaulters and snipers."
Anon. Do you see why claiming the enemy shot down a 'Team' is incorrect? Isn't it enough that we lost a Squadron and more?

You could say 'members of Gold Squadron, SEAL Team 6' I suppose, but be aware of DEVGRU and who they are.
Remember the as the team aboard Extortion 17.
