SDM already has a guaranteed supply of food, so among the youkai they could be one of the safer choices (apart from Sakuya and Flan).

I don't know if you guys know about the dust up with Comics Ryu lately but they're going digital only which means Monster Musume no Iru Nichijou, Nurse Hitomi, Centaur's Worries, and the new Monster Musume Doctor manga among others will only be in print for the tankoban. It's a gamble by the magazine as printing is a huge cost they can shed by going to digital only. On the other hand that's a risk on whether the readers will follow them to digital and a lack of advertising based on people just picking up the physical magazine in the store on a whim. We'll see how this goes.

I just want monsters to look like monsters again. It's the Kemono Friends problem where the girls aren't humanoid hybrids. They're just human girls in cosplay. That's the kind of environment /monster/ cultivated and /chaos/ allows but even that has it's limits.
