4つのVMに分けるならハードクラッシュの際とかのメンテの手間は
4台の時と変わらない。2chでは１つのサーバーに板を多く詰めて
台数とメンテの手間の両方を減らす方向に行ってるわけで。クラッシュや
アップデートの際に2chセッティングのメンテをするのは、2chの人
だと思うんだがその手間の軽減も考えるべきではないかな。
It is understandable that cutting hosting cost by reducing
the physical number of servers. But in case of hardware
crash, effort needed for maintenance for 4VMs is same as with 4
different servers. 2ch is reducing number of servers by packing
more boards in one server to reduce number of servers and effort
of maintenance at the same time. 2ch setting maintenance for pink
servers are done by 2ch people. I would say we should think about
reducing their effort too.
