However it was used minimally and banned mostly by the people that
wanted Maru and p2. I would trust me, I have wanted more security for
years. I hope now people can see the need for that. I won't blame an individual
for what has happened, people enjoyed Maru very much. It has been an old
outdated system for a long time, and the original developer doesn't even
come here anymore. Why, it did things except for accessing past logs
has always been a mystery to me.
If the hacking had not occurred then probably it would still be marching
along mysteriously.
The hacking released things that had to remain secret for Maru to work.

It released data that a system built a long time ago should not have been
storing. The hacker has hurt so many people that way. With an obvious
direct target of putting N.T.Tech out of business effectively shutting
down 2ch. So if that is your goal. I am sorry, but I will do my best
