>>676>>690 Jim-san In 2ch boards, when we change local rules, we first changed our names to a temporal name, so that we can tell everyone in the board that there is local rule discussion going on.
something like " original name @ we are discussing about local rules now" I think this was not a hard rule, but a tradition of making consensus.
So now in livejupter, we were discussing about the voting to change the name "temporary".
It is a good procedure because you can tell everyone in the board that we are discussing about local rules. The bad part is that, we need UNEI to first change our default names to some temporary name, and then start discussing. this will be a labor for both UNEI and ppl.
So now, many guys in livejupiter is confusing that what you have said means that we can skip this procedure and start the debate on local rule, or what you have ment was about a "permenet" name change.
in addition to this, >>698 past UNEI hardley accepted Local rule changes, saying that it is not a consensus, you guys have to discuss more, even it had credibilities. So 2ch ppl are kind of frightened that they are going to be told again that "you skipped this small procedure, so this is invalid". I guess thats why they want to hear your comment
We at NandemoJikko J want to discuss Local Rules at the timeframe Mr.Jim set. But if we don't make know to everyone that discussion is going on, there is a possibility that someone might start saying that "I didn't know about the discussion so this decision is invalid". So we thought that we need to change our default name field to add "Local Rule discussion ongoing". But if Mr.Jim thinks that we don't need to change the name field and that if we discuss for 2weeks it will be fine, then we wont change our name field and we will start discussing about Local Rule revise asap.
