If anyone is wondering why Q says 'marker' and "marker", look no further than Q's posts. There are at least three markers sprinkled within the posts:
1) "word(s)"
2) 'word(s)'
3) ‘word(s)’
With a small font, the latter two are nearly indistinguishable. #2 is a single-quote. #3 is a curled single-quote. Remember, there are no coincidences.
