Why bother coming up with such outlandish theories? The best theory is that we are in something like the matrix. That's all we need to understand. Beyond that it's just silly inventions of uselessly creative minds. Evolution has two parts: random mutation, and culling of unsustainable mutations. You've forgotten the second half.
It doesn't matter who can or can't disprove something. That's not meaningful. All that matters is what's useful, and silly inventions of your overly creative minds are a distraction from the only facts that really matter to everyone here. Clearly you are in the minority with your conclusions about the world.
If you can think about what we all already agree we are trying to accomplish before you define "the box" and define "outside," you'll realize you can easily answer that question in a way that is clearly useful for everyone here.
