From what I can find a pilot said there was a fire on a train between concorses within the airport. NOT CONFIRMED. Another source said a contractor had cut a power line. There has been smoke seen. Looks like ALL flights are canceled for the remainder of the day. Strange the airport has no back up power. No local stations have a clue.
apparently some sort of fire has cut power to the airport. that is all they are telling people. There are people stranded on planes, DOT have hero veh blocking all entrances to the airport. and no back up power. This is only the airport. not all of Atlanta. still no clue what is up. There was one person that had a video with smoke in the terminal. There was a fire. Another person posted that they were warned of air travel if "IT HAPPENED". and said that someone had started a fire and cut a power line both. the post was later taken down. So its a guessing game ATM.
