Indeed, our sun is not a star, that's why I used quotation marks…
The sun and moon are both magnets and half spheres. The sun is directly energized by the top (capstone) of the octahedronal magnet in the center of the celestial sphere.
The sun spirals close to 365 times around the celestial sphere in one year. The sun is steered up and down (north to south and south to north) by, what we call, the milky way band.
The sun and moon are separated by a layer of glass and also the karman line at 100km is made of glass.
You have to think of it as being a big magnetic bio-machine.
After they nuked a hole in the glass with 'Operation Fishbowl' (what's in a name…) in 1962, they were able to send up rockets/shuttles above the glass layer.
