Mmmm, had a family member who worked (past tense) for Lockheed for decades.
Are there some sketchy individuals who get knotted up with lobbyists & the clowns in DC? Sure.
But for every one of them, there are (well, WERE) at least 25 true patriots. They honor security oaths and agreements, they're very qualified to do their jobs, and they're just good guy/gal next door Americans, discreetly and very quietly doing some very cool things.

I think all the MIC companies are like gov't agencies - just not reasonable to paint all the folks who are just "in the line" with the same brush as the high profile people.
The company dynamics work kind of like giant high schools – some jocks, some nerds, some thugs, some sleazes, but a bunch of people who are just nice kids, like the kids in Stranger Things and The Goonies.
