Hard to say if he sold out or he gave testimony they've heard before that they know is false.

There are reports coming out that what he said yesterday didn't match other testimony they've heard.

Planned, IMHO, to scare the shit out of other people who have, or about to testify.

If there was some type of coordination between suspects about what they all would say, it's been sabotaged by those comments.

No one will believe anyone else, now, and it's every man for himself.

What we don't know is if Mueller himself knew those emails were going to be obtained by sneaky means.

He's got a lot of big name attorneys working used to working on the edge and bending rules where possible.

I read a while ago that they all took out malpractice policies, but I don't know if that's true or a usual practice in such cases.

You know Trump's lawyers will hit back, so I can see a rationale taking out the policies.

If Mueller is a sting, then hiring these rogue attorneys and allowing them to screw themselves could make sense.

Also, some may be implicated themselves, so there's nothing to lose for them.
