My interpretation of Qs question in regards to where is the closest star is that the information has not been pubically released yet but there is potential we will here more about this in the near future. I will explain why. Here is a story explaining the theory.

It has been speculated that this planets origin is from a neighboring solar system we have yet to discover. This is interesting because last week NASA announced for the first time they had found a solar system about the same size as our own. I didn't really care about that. What I found interesting is that for the first time they had used an AI to sort through prexisting data from the Kepler telescope which is satellite if you don't know. They've only analyzed about 2% of the data from Kepler so far. This development has quite literally exponentially increased our knowledge of the universe. I honestly think Q was alluding to a discovery that has yet to come.

“Just as we expected, there are exciting discoveries lurking in our archived Kepler data, waiting for the right tool or technology to unearth them,” said Paul Hertz, director of NASA’s Astrophysics Division in Washington. “This finding shows that our data will be a treasure trove available to innovative researchers for years to come.”
