The Hebrew word "Naphtali" means "my struggle, my strife" (((mein kampf))) - can't make this stuff up. Same word for (((jihad)))? In the context, it sounds like these people love to make war.
Of the 12 sons of Jacob, Napthali was the 6th - no surprise here. Napthali's mother was not Rachel (Jacob's wife) - his mother was Bilhah, the handmaiden/concubine…although I'm not sure if this Bilhah was just another 'lesser' wife, so to speak…maybe somebody else can help.
