Cecil Rhodes was the founder of Rhodesia for fucks sake. I highly doubt he would have set in motion the machine that would ultimately destroy his namesake.. This is misdirection. Rhodesia, and indeed South Africa were doing too well. They had (have) massive gold reserves, and were almost certainly planning on cutting the umbilical cord to the central banking (read Rothschild) cartel. The last thing these parasitic kikes wanted was a sovereign nation with enough mineral wealth to tell them to stick it - so they fucked them. Hard.
