Does anyone know how long the government can hold people under military arrest, like say Huma, GS, or one of the fucktwits, without a public acknowledge of their confinement?

Enemy combatant rules are much different from simple U.S. citizen arrests. I am just wondering if say they arrested GS secretly, how long would they be able to hold him before public disclosure or trial?
