We discussed this already. I actually brought up the benefits a long time ago concerning this. Anti-Trump government officials wouldnt have access to government computers, communications, meetings, etc. during a shutdown. Military could operate undetected and decisions made at WH level without stalling or protest. The enemies would be in the dark, or severely hamstrung, while the mission was accomplished.
