Can confirm. Also raised Catholic, remember questioning it at age 6, going along with confirmation until 7th grade to appease parents / grand parents. Ended up having a pedo priest at our Parrish get disappeared to somewhere else, ultimately found out what happened when he killed himself at the new church over similar accusations, years later. Was replaced by a creepy dude with brown-tint pedo glasses, I shit you not.
Being back in church freaks me out now, with responsorials and all. So weird.
Still enjoy some of the music though - on eagles wings in particular.
Redpilled my fam though after 9/11 and haven't been to church since except maybe Christmas at a Protestant church.
