Q, while you’re here, something that’s been on my mind for a while:
06 AUG 2011, Tangi Valley, Wardak, Afghanistan. What happened, really? It always smelled fishy to me. Seemed like someone wanted to tie up loose ends about OBL, so they sent a message by waxing the other half of Team Six. I mean really? Right after they got “OBL”, the other half of a SMU gets killed.
My BN crushed Tangi before we pulled out a company that was getting beat to shit. I think either A) it really was a lucky shot, or B) it’s fishy because why were the majority of the troops on one bird? Thats some shit a lowly line company does when they fly in two PLTs, not a tier one unit. I think it was purposefully engineered this way to maximize the death toll.
I was a young 11B SPC at the time, pulling late night guard duty on a gun truck, when I heard the chatter from our FISTer’s radio about a bird being shot down; there was frantic talk about being spun up for QRF, as we were the closest boots on the ground, but deep in the Chak Valley. It was painful, man. I was quietly crying in the dark, praying for those men, feeling powerless that it wasn’t possible for us to help.
I understand why if you can’t discuss this here. I just hope that you see this, and if it really was a set up, then POTUS brings the fuckers who engineered this to light. I understand the death of clandenstine operatives being disavowed by the country, but a SMU? If my theorizing is correct, then that’s straight up betrayal.
