Because she is completely corrupt, willing to do ANYTHING for power and money, and was able to get a devoted following of willfully blind sheep.

 

We have to remember that regardless of how much money (((they))) have, the masses will not support their policies or die for them. THEY need a popular figurehead and ways to mask all their activities with patriotism or altruism.
