My thoughts are that it's just as likely that are entire creation was started by one Source. The story of Genesis is derived from Hinduism and Egyptian doctrine. The story has been much the same from many civilizations across the world. The evil cabal you want to see fall worships the fallen angels. The serpents, the demons, the dragons etc.

Not at all if it were Aliens their would not be a firing squad. They would rip souls from their bodies and deliver him to a large black hole where hopefully they get stuck in some kind of loop that rips them apart and puts them back together over and over for eternity.
