I believe the "Brit Intel" clue refers to what Judge Andrew Napolitano reported on March 14, 2017 and was suspended by Fox for a week for doing so. When the Judge returned, he doubled down on the report.
Essentially, he said that the Obama administration asked British Intelligence to tap the calls of members of the Trump team and then place the result (transcripts and metadata) into the shared pool of intelligence per the Five Eyes agreement (UK, USA, Australia, NZ and Canada).
This request to the UK got around the prohibition of the N_A spying on USA citizens.
