Less than a week after Hunter Harrison’s death, CSX Corp. has named his replacement. James M. Foote is the railroad’s new president and chief executive officer.

 

AMTRAK crash was on 12/18

 

Harrison died Dec. 16. No cause has been released.

No they were using the track that had in the past been used only for freight according to the article. But, it wasn't secretly diverted, they were using it openly.

 

Was trying to see if it was a link to CSX.
