It's better described as a transformational festival.
I've been 11 years and part of the original groups that started going out to the desert to build really cool art. Work as a community, sharing our each unique passions, gifts etc. It's kinda an experienment on a future sustainable society and has ALL the elements of a BIG city. My first year was in 1995 when it was only 4k people. Everyone has their own unique interpretation of it…and it evolves year after year.
I feel you are wasting your time on this. But feel free to dig down that rabbit hole if you desire.

Secondly…where the fuck were you hanging out???!! Dear lord! Just walk the fuck away from shit you don't want to be involved in (just like in any large city of 70k pple) You should have come over to our block for some good ol fashion fun, music, art, food and sustainable community experiences - while meeting many lovely souls that ventured to the desert from around the globe.
