For the life of me, I could have sworn there was a Q post in the early days on half chan that made a cryptic refernce to salt neutralizing something. I've searched the Qmaps PDFs I have locally and can't find it. But I did find this:

"Although only certain molten salts and halogens are corrosive to solid iridium, finely divided iridium dust is much more reactive and can be flammable."

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iridium

Just putting it out there in case it is a metaphor for something pertinent to the Iridium satellite program and whatever fuckery is going on with SpaceX, NK, and our space program.

You are missing the point. The argument isn't about what they do in actuality. It's about what they APPEAR to do. The obvious analog is that the sun APPEARS to rise, even though we know that we are orbiting it. Same with a rocket. You cannot get far enough away from it on earth for it to appear to be going horizontal if it's on a trajectory into near earth orbit. It would be too fucking small to see with the naked eye. The arc you see in the shuttle is the booster rocket. Not the shuttle.

As for the SpaceX launch, who knows. We have ample reason to believe it is suspicious as fuck. STFU and get back to work.
