I'm really glad to see Hastings' story back in the mix. I never believed the circumstances of his death were accidental.

My guess - he was onto a part of this.

Test balloon while we are waiting for more info:

I think that cryptocurrency is a mess from a technical perspective (I'm a programmer involved with it for many years) because I don't think that hardly any of the applications require a blockchain - i.e. require a distributed ledger in a trustless environment.

But isn't that exactly what we've been trying to accomplish here? Build a record of vetted, well researched information in a trustless environment? Isn't that what Q has been stimulating?

I'm not proposing a new coin of any tangible value, I don't want it to have a monetary value at all. But I do see a great value in this system, which is currently depending on *chan to exist and could be shut down for this or future cases. What if we had a spinoff of blockchain tech that was meant for baking breads? These breads are a centralized ledger but there would be real value in making them redundant and also establishing a hidden reputational (non famefagging) system for promoting quality contributions and submerging shills. It could be a blockchain node running on your machine/browser directly and really allow for significant privacy protections.

Anyone interested?

Also, it could have a very simple SQL layer built into the chain itself so that previous posts are easily searchable and able to be referenced. Thinking about the search for the Q / 4 10 20 Twitter offsets made me realize how much I wanted to dump every bread and all tweets into postgres so I could write the correct query to tease out the deltas.
