The eye of Ra, or as it had come to be, Amun-Ra, is the worldly power of the god who usurped the throne of earlier sky deities, such as Horus the younger. They stole aspects of many gods and used them for their own devices.
Atum-Ra is closely associated with Saturn, when it was clear that "Sun" worship was saturn worship. Saturn has a standing hexagon at its northern pole, as well as being the 6th planet from the sun. It's cults is directly related to the corruption of nearly every major world religion and, as Q has been so thoughtfully pointing us to, government.
Horus was once the chief sky deity. The Eye of Horus (symbol) represents the moon (Horus's artificial eye), the reflection of the sun (his left eye, and only natural eye), which protects those who need it during the long night.
Akhenaten attempted to resolve the political corruption of his time by removing power from the priesthood of Amun-Ra, who had become more powerful than the nobility. He was the Horus of Aten (Aten being the disk of the sun, or the light of the sun. It is represented in many other cultures as the black sun, or swastika, and not being only the visible light, but all energy cast from Sol) who spoke for the 'true' god. His throne was later usurped and he was labeled forever a traitor and criminal. Can the cycle be broken?
It is going to sound like a leap, but research it if you will. Amun-Ra, or the Eye of Ra, is the supposed worship of the sun, but in reality is the worship of Saturn. They have infiltrated cyclically every body of power going back at least 3800 years.
Saturn IS Satan, and by following most major world religions, one has been tricked into worship of the usurper.
