They are not real anons, they are most likely not even twatterers or ledditors or treepers. The purpose is to drown him out, fill up the thread really fast and break up the message(s) between threads, make it harder for him (and us) to see quality posts to concentrate and (ourselves) make quality posts in response to his. It's a sign of panic. It's pretty obvious really.
