I had a strange experience tonight, Anon. At exactly midnight, the sky lit up with lightning and then loud thunder. Then the wind suddenly picked up and it began to snow hard, creating white-out conditions. It wasn't even snowing before that strange lightning and thunder. First time I've experienced a thunderSTORM on Christmas.
I guess I'll find out in a day or two if it was an omen.
