Anons, i found strange string in Delaware crossing image. Probably nothing important, but curious whether Q's images were inspected forensically.
My previous post -
Splendid. Well - then what it means? (the string)? Any ideas?
Yes, these things are obvious to me. Population control is a game full of fun. Especially, when one tries to figure out the rules. Important to notice here that all participants have similarly limited intelligence capabilities, contrary to popular belief :) . Nevertheless, I like puzzles, but notice that few are into them. I wonder, where is the source image t the one posted by Q…
One more interesting thing - out of similar images there is no exact copy that I could find. There is also no sting I mentioned before in any of them. Even in those that match resolution and color distribution. Certainly the image was altered and possibly the string isn't a coincidence.
There are more versions of photos. I wanted to check, whether there is a version of photo circulating in the Internet that is exactly the same from binary point of view. Couldn't find any. And also, couldn't find the string I mentioned before in any copy. But still trying.
Expansion: sometimes you can find strings in photo files. These are actually binary values of pixels, but sometimes they form a human readable strings. I found a string "c0N$P=^?" in the latest image from Q. Exactly at the end of file. No other copy of this image available in the internet contains such string.
I answered for the reference msg you mentioned above.
I looked - cannot find exact copy with exact string I mentioned before.
Yes, it is. Exactly as you wrote. The point is that at the end of this file is a string "c0N$P=^?" which looks pretty strange to me. Besides, all metadata is missing (which is ok, but also proves at least some more than usual modification). All together look interesting.
Ah, one more thing - I haven't compared the two pictures. I compared the last one with other copies of the same style (used TinEye for this task). Thus I compared files with similar colors and same resolution.
There are thousands of strings there that can mean something. I have no time for it today, but maybe some other Anon would take a look.
There is also a possibility to have a message stenographically encoded into it - this should also be tested.
Yes, upload to TinEye - it should show you similar (or same) images found across Internet. As to scrolling - regexing binary with w+ switch is better. But dunno how to do it in Win.
As I mentioned before - these are all strings found in this image file. I made no editing - you can see on your own; just upload the photo to https://29a. ch/photo-forensics/ . These strings are mostly binary representations of pixel values, but some can also represent hidden message (altering pixel values slightly is invisible on the image, but can serve as a message channel). Must go. Merry Christmas.
