I'm sorry, but none of these are going to work.

Let me explain why.

What makes a meme work is that it has to be both

TRUTHFUL

FUNNY

And most importantly, HUMOROUSLY OFFENSIVE

A SUCCESSFUL MEME MUST CONVEY A LOT OF INFORMATION IN AS FEW WORDS AS POSSIBLE

VERY FEW OF THE MEMES IN THIS THREAD OR ANY OF THE ARCHIVES DO THAT

Pics related are examples of good memes.

They fill at minimum the second and third criteria.

Pic one fills first, second, and third. (if anyone takes the bible seriously anymore)

Pic 2 fills second and third.

Pic 3 fills second and third.

Pic 4 fills second and third.

Pic 5, while not truthful, reminds us that Harvey Weinstein is an accused rapist and sexual offender.

So while not directly truthful, it made a connection to real events.

It also fills all the criteria, being both funny and humorously offensive.

You don't need any sort of generator in order to make any of these memes.

You can use something as simple as MSPAINT

or as advanced as using the entirety of the Adobe lineup - Photoshop, Fireworks, After Effects, SpeedGrade

All that matters is that it conveys a very digestible message within one or two images, three at most

I'll post some more examples of good memes, and at request, explain why they're good

REMEMBER - You don't have to have a degree in Graphical design to make a meme. It just has to fit within a criteria

IS IT FUNNY?

IS IT TRUTHFUL?

IS IT OFFENSIVE?

IS IT DIGESTIBLE?

Not all the criteria have to be filled out to make a good meme, but this should be a guide on how to make

Better

memes.
