Want to note something about getting news out on social media.

MSM is playing games with semantics, and independent news won’t resonate at times bc of it.

MSM uses semantics a lot to deliver news to the masses.

It’s normalized as “spin” and can make people ignore important things.

Example 1 -

MSM presents HC emails as being “classified" on an “open, private" server. They know most millennials will think “well, that’s not so bad”. Millennials have been raised to think “open" is good. Most of them share their own phones and app accounts with friends and "are monitored heavily by society themselves". It would be hard to convince them that anything should be classified, when they assume everything is spied on and accessible anyway, and they want a more fair society as well.

Example 2 -

MSM plays with the meaning of “leaks” and “leakers”. On one hand, citizens are told it is a good thing to get info, like wikileaks or whistleblowers. But then, you hear Trump team getting shrill about leaks. They can play either side of this coin when needed in the press to give the illusion that leaks are good and Trump is against it.

So, the difference between "transparency and fairness" vs. "closed and classified" needs to be explained with examples. The semantics of these issues in news items will cause the same shut down as cognitive dissonance
