The rumor around the city (Shitcago) was that Obama had worked a deal with Blago for Jarrett to get his seat in the Senate… Blago tried to fuck him and put the seat out for bid. Jesse Jackson Jr. was in the bidding and they rewarded his loyalty with a trip to prison for he and his wife. Sure he deserved it, but the point is/was he didn't do anything outside of the swamp except bid on that senate seat. This was in the initial reports when they arrested Blago but quickly disappeared and was never mentioned again.
