I'm not a chemtrail researcher but what has always made me think they're probably real is that they're pretty much only a thing in America. I've never seen Aussies or South Africans or New Zealanders talking about chemtrail sightings. If it was a normal phenomena that was misinterpreted, the talk about it would look the same all over the world.
