He stated his belief that the wording could be better.
I believe he is a false pope, but this claim about him making an active attempt to change the prayer (specifically the English translation), is simply inaccurate.
FWIW it would take the council of American bishops to initiate such a change.
He was asked as part of an interview that examined the Lords Prayer line by line. A 7 part interview i believe.
The breitbart and other headlines were misleading and sensationalized. He commented that the French had already altered their version, because a more accurate word exists in French.
Again, he is not a good person, and a terrible pope. But a lose of critical thinking on our part does not help Q or this cause.
On what precisely, sticking to the facts? Im guessing your not Catholic, or if you are, you are a C and E. The pope cannot change a biblical translation simply because he feels like it.

The pope's suggestions to "clarify" the prayer are deeply troubling, but that is NOT the same as him announcing he is changing the prayer.
