Your concern is shared by many. But things must be done methodically and in order. First the leaves come off the tree, then the branches dry up and can be trimmed. Then the trunk can be fallen, then the roots can be dug up.

But he encoded what was God'd writing taught into his works and later prophets did the same.

Right again. This is exactly how we read what is meant for our time.
It is by recognizing the scene playing out around us and realizing we have been here before.
When we then find ancient scenarios recorded in Scripture that are the same picture,
and they correlate to the same process of events around us, which Moses teaches us to recognize,
then we "hear from God" for ourselves. And we are empowered by what we learn.
